The worlds becoming a dark and scary place. Ever since 9/11 America has never been the same as the day before that. Since that day politicians like Giuliani and Bush have been pushing their political agendas which were fueled by our fears of another terrorist attack. Boy did our fears push a lot of political agendas, they started a war in Iraq, they got rid of Habeas Corpus, and they introduced the Patriot Act. It seems as though that all these politicians are promising us is surveillance, they tell us that if there is a camera on every street corner then we will be safe from terrorists. But if we are giving up our basic rights in return for protection/safety, what are we really getting in the end? Is that not what the point of fighting terrorism was about, to protect the foundations of democracy that our country was built upon. I just hope someone can stop this nonsense before the world becomes a complete dystopia.

So this is the fourth Halo book in the series, and let me tell you something, it made me this much closer to going insane for Halo 3. I mean im already insane, but like SUPER MEGA PWNAGE INSANE. This book really goes beyond the Halo story that we are all usually used to. You know the basic Spartan John 117, hes a total badass and he pwns. Instead it goes to tell the story of the other Spartans including the III'rd generation of spartans. It also goes to talk about the Forerunner planet Onyx, and what was its purpose in the plan of Halo. Basically this novel adds so much more questions and predictions to the future of the Halo universe that its not even funny.

So I definitely recommend picking up a copy of this book, because I know that I was done within a day.(Thats how amazing it is). I even plan on doing a Honors 3 English project on it. = P

Wow its been a while since I discovered Pay Per Post. Im actually kind of upset that I haven't been exploiting this cash cow to the full extent of its abilities. I remember that time almost Half a year ago, when I first read about Payperpost on www.Digg.com.

Now this isn't really concerning the 37inch and 42inch LCD HD-TV's we picked up durring black friday. Its actually something im even more excited about. Hd-Tv for my notebook. I got my Popular Science issue yesterday and one of the projects was...HDTV on ur laptop. So i got online and I was searching for the ArtecTv notebook reciever which was listed at 100 bucks, but I found a set for around 60 dollars. So now I will be able to use my laptop as a Tivo to record and watch tv shows in HDTV for free. I still dont believe that they broadcast free signals, because I would expect everyone to mooche off of those instead of paying for cable and crap like that. I hope this reciever works in Europe or our school too, then I can watch tv durring school = P. OH yea another update, GamersFactory @ ebay is a duesche. I really love love love PayPerPost.com Its the perfect way for a slacker like me to make money by doing almost absolutely nothing. The fact of the matter is that I really don't wanna get a low wage shitty job pushing carts at a store or flipping burgers at mickey d's. Update...its been a while

So in recent news the biggest upcoming news has had to have been the Halo 3 commercial. In one word....it was: Godlike. Ive probably seen it over 50 times now, and i still get chills running down my spine. Bungie has definitely portrayed Master Chief as a way more badass dude as ever previously thought. Another wonderful thing about the commercial was the way it spawned so much controversy and debate over every little thing. Such as who the young kids at the begging were, how the so-called "bubble grenade" would affect gameplay, and even conspiracy theories that the commercial sounded different if you played it backwards. While the Wii may be fun, and the PS3 may be the fastest processor machine, the Xbox is definitely the winner with Halo 3.

Thats about it, hopefully ill post more often now that my schedule has emptied out a bit.

So yesterday at Apple's "It's Showtime" conference, Apple released several new interesting pieces of technology, iTunes v.7, which lets you download feature movies for around 14.99, they also released a new batch of casual games for the video ipods, YES! finally something better than bricks ^.^ They also released this box codenamed: iTV, which lets you stream your multimedia to your hi-def tv. But personally i thought their best idea was the new nano's. I have always been fond of that cool aluminum casing in the old ipod minis, so i always had a dislike towards the nano's until now! Oh and 8gb nano too, so size and form factor for that much data is amazing.

Well since the end of summer is soon approaching we better start preparing for the doomsday of school. Since alot of the crap in my room is broken and disorganized, i was thinking of a better way to organize this place. Spending $20 on a single blank HD DVD disc is not all that compelling when you can spend $50 and get a 200GB hard disk. Do the math: $1.33/GB for the HD DVD vs. $.25/GB for a SATA drive? That relatively slow write speed and extra cost of HD DVD discs pales by comparison to the 150MB/sec data transfer rate of SATA. But yeah, yeah, apples and oranges.

So today was pretty lame, went to that King Tut exhibit at the Field Musuem, I definitely have to say it sucked, when i first heard about it I pictured a room filled with gold, and the mummies body out in the open for all to see....instead they just had a few crappy pieces of gold, and they didnt even have the actually body there. I mean the exhibit would be great if ur a history buff, but for the regular peeps like you and me, STAY AWAY, dont waste your money, or your time. OTher wise I played halo 2, got into a few curse fights, its all good tho. Ugh i hate teh fucking n00b combos in that game, bungie WTF halo 1 was bitchin, halo 2 turned into a fucking n00b war, get rid of the plasma pistol and br, and fix the game, halo 1 was so much complex and harder to play, halo 2 is just all about whos got the bigger guns..

Well today i got a car, its an Acura TL 2.5 '96. The interior is nice and the outside body is fine, but the mechanical aspect of the car is where it gets fucked. The power steering is leaking fluid, and everytime you make a turn it sounds like the front two wheels are gonna fall off. And then while ur driving the engine keeps humming to itself and making noises from who the fuck knows where. But even tho its a piece of shit, I love my new baby. = ) Now i just have to pimp it out with some underglo = P
